Crochet Celebration at Harry J. Clarke, June 2024
Harry J. Clarke, student crochet celebration As part of my Ontario Arts Council Grant, I worked at six area schools. At Harry J. Clarke, we met once a week throughout the year. Students learned to crochet, and contributed crochet squares for Bridging Communities. This was part of our year end celebration, for students who worked on their crochet throughout the year.

Bayside Public School, Ontario Arts Council Crochet Project Grant
Exhibition at Bayside Public School, Crochet Art My project grants always start with working with teachers and administrators. Nicola Wand, the principal at that time, helped set up a weekly schedule for around sixty students. She even met with other students, and crocheted herself. When we work together, children see what's possible! We exhibited our work for our end of year celebration, inviting parents, media, and special guests to join us.
