

Quinte Arts Council, Arts Recognition Award, September 26, 2025
Award Ceremony at Dinkel's Restaurant, September 26 I was honoured to be recognized by the Quinte Arts Council at their annual gathering , on September 26, 2025. This has been an amazing experience, working and meeting with so many dedicated people through my Bridging Communities Project. Thank you expecially to the Quinte Arts Council for their continuing support of our project.


Bridging Communities Crochet Exhibition, at the County Arts
Bridging Communities Crochet Exhibition, September, 2025. Bridging Communities has been meeting in Picton and Wellington, first in collaboration with the County Arts, and now through the Prince Edward County Public Library. This work featured a selection of work from project participants, showcasing a variety of styles we've been using. As part of our Bridging Communities project, we've had an ambitious slate of public exhibitions, so we can showcase our work to our communit


Crochet in the Park, Kingston City Park
In collaboration with YarnGK, we sponsored an afternoon of crochet in the park, in Kingston City Park, July 27th, 2025. Bridging Communities has always been about the process of creating community. As part of this, we've been hosting events, exhbitions, and getting out into the community to enourage people to become involved. Thank you to Heidelberg Materials for their sponsorship of this event.


Gather in the County, the Crystal Palace
On June 7th, 2025, I took part in The Gather in the County , at the Crystal Palace, Picton. An amazing day of seeing the textile arts in action, and how creative work creates community.


Bridging Communities Exhibition at the Quinte Arts Council
The opening for our Bridging Communities Exhibition, Where We Crochet, May 2025 at the Quinte Arts Council. This exhibition featured the work of over forty crocheters who have made a significant contribution to our project. Our exhibition also featured created spaces for crocheting. The Quinte Arts Council is also the location of weekly crochet meetings on Tuesdays, from 5:00 to 6:30. For a month, our crochet space was totally transformed into a yarnstormed exhibition place!

Leading up to the concert project crocheters worked on crochet, while visitors could join us in our yarnstormed living room! Exhibition date, February 1st, 2025
