City life is a mirage that disappears when looked at up close, a kaleidoscope of small images.  After a trip back to Addis Ababa, I found myself thinking about long views of taxis, and neighbourhoods.  Putting together up to 10 canvases in these (and other) series allowed me to focus on how everything is made up of the chaos of individual moments.
